Jausestation: Traditional South Tyrolean Cuisine

At the family-run Jausestation of Hofer Hof, the cooking is simple and genuine, just as it used to be. Here you eat South Tyrol as it is made at home: traditional dishes and home-style cooking, prepared with care in the heart of the Chienes plateau, in the Pustertal.

A wood-fired kitchen, like years ago

Our dishes are made on a traditional wood-fired stove, which gives the flavors a character that a modern cooktop cannot. The menu follows South Tyrolean tradition and home cooking: simple recipes handed down in the family, to be enjoyed without hurry.

From our henhouse and our garden

Whenever possible, the ingredients come straight from the farm: the eggs from our hens and the vegetables from our garden. To finish, homemade desserts such as apple strudel and buckwheat cake.
